A recent gathering in Madrid united religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society Madrid when supported by education and dialogue.
